Discover Passes, AKA "day passes" are required at some locations. 

The Discover Pass website also provides information on where the passes are needed, and information about the pass and recreation areas

They may be purchased locally at Sunbird's in Yelm.

JBLM Range Control Pass

Appointments are no longer necessary to obtain the passes, which are FREE

If you do not have military ID, you must go to the visitor center to get a day pass and directions to the Range Control office.  If you are unfamiliar with the area, make a friend with a chapter member, and go on post with them.

 

 

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Non-military, or retired military, MUST have an enhanced driver's license, or additional photo ID in addition to your regular driver's license.  2 pieces of photo ID are now required for on post business.

If you see blue gloves on top of the pile, it has been noted.  Let's get those who feel the need to "trash" our trails.
